Privacy policy
How this site handles your enquiry data, cookies and third-party embedded content.
This policy explains what Wayhomart collects on this site, how it is used, and what you can ask us to do. The technical facts first: this site sets no cookies by default and loads no analytics scripts.
1. Who is responsible
This website is operated by Wayhomart. For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights below, write to [email protected].
2. What we collect
Two things only:
- Enquiry details you submit: name, company, email, phone (optional), country/region, product type (optional), estimated annual volume (optional), application (optional), and whatever you write in the message field.
- Minimal server-side information: the referring page, and your country (derived from your IP by Cloudflare). We do not store your IP address.
Our hosting provider also keeps ordinary access logs for security and troubleshooting (see section 4).
3. Why we need it, and on what basis
- Purpose: to reply to your enquiry, assess manufacturability, quote, and stay in contact about the project.
- Basis: responding to a business enquiry is a step taken at your request before entering into a contract, and is also our legitimate interest in running our business.
- We do not use your details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not pass them to third parties for their marketing.
4. Who sees your information
Only the service providers necessary for the purposes above:
| Processor | Role | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, security, bot verification | Access logs, country derived from IP |
| Resend | Delivers the enquiry to us as email | Full enquiry content |
Both act on our instructions only. Beyond these, we do not sell or share your information.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept until the conversation has ended and it is no longer needed for any resulting business relationship. Where an enquiry does not lead to a business relationship, we periodically delete records we no longer need.
6. Cookies and local storage
- This site sets no cookies by default, and no advertising or analytics cookies.
- We write one key,
wm-consent, to your browser’s local storage to remember your analytics choice (accept or reject). It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us with requests, and it cannot be used to track you across sites. Clearing your browser data removes it.
7. Analytics (requires your explicit consent)
If you click “Accept”, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand how pages are used (which pages are read, which country visitors come from). IP anonymisation is enabled. If you reject, or make no choice, no analytics script is loaded. Your choice is stored in the local storage described above; clearing your browser data means you will be asked again.
8. Third-party embedded content
- Map: the map on the contact page is not loaded by default. Only after you click “Load map” does the browser request map content from Google, at which point Google receives your IP and may set its own cookies. If you do not click, Google receives no request. We also provide a plain link that opens Google Maps, so the choice is entirely yours.
- WhatsApp: our WhatsApp contact is an ordinary outbound link. WhatsApp receives no data until you click and open it; from that point your use is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted, and you can object to or restrict our processing of it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page; significant changes to how data is used will be highlighted.
